I used to wake up feeling behind before my day even started. Dishes in the sink, clothes on the chair, no idea what I needed to do. Then I started a simple habit: a 10-minute evening reset.

Here’s what it includes:

  • Putting away anything left out in the living room

  • Setting out what I need for the next morning (keys, bag, water bottle)

  • Quickly checking tomorrow’s to-do list

  • Wiping down the kitchen counter so I wake up to a clean space

It sounds small, but the feeling of waking up to order instead of chaos is unbelievably calming. My mornings feel smoother, my mood is lighter, and I actually enjoy the start of my day again.
